Accessibility statement
How accessible BillPigeon is, what we know is missing and how to tell us.
Draft. This page has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before BillPigeon launches.
Our goal
We want BillPigeon to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, a magnifier or large text. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA on the website and the hosted document pages, and for the platform accessibility guidance on iOS and Android.
What we do
- Every icon and button in the apps has a text label for screen readers, and touch targets are at least 48 dp.
- Text follows the system text size, and screens are checked at 200 % text.
- Status, such as paid or overdue, is never shown by colour alone.
- Pages are checked for contrast, headings, landmarks and keyboard use, with an automated checker.
- PDF invoices carry real text and a document language.
What we know is missing
No independent accessibility audit has been made. We check every screen of the app automatically for tap size, labels, contrast and large text, and the website and document pages with an automated checker and with the keyboard, but we have not yet tested every screen by hand with VoiceOver and TalkBack. PDF invoices are produced as tagged PDFs, but we have not yet checked that structure with a PDF accessibility validator.
Tell us
If something does not work for you, write to support@billpigeon.com and say what you tried. We answer and fix what we can.
